Well, here she is! My mom's old armoire that I rescued from her damp, old basement. She came back to Florida and sat in my garage for a bit, then moved to a spare room and became a hold it all for crafts. Five years later I decided that she needed a makover. I found this
blog that told about
this product. I love the outcome. I had to do a little repair work on her before painting, such as using a wood filler to fill in the wood that was lifting on top of her and various other places. The CC directions said to squish, squash the paint hapharzardly. That's what I did. On the basecoat I used pumpkin, then used a chipping cream, then peppercorn, sanded, toner and satin poly. I love her!! My friend Grace said that her husband is an excellent artist, so he said that he will paint the flowers onto her front, taken from the original.
