| That's her in the middle, June, June Bug or as Isometimes call her - Junie B! I should of gotten credit for the Junie B Jones series of books. Ha!! Just kidding..... If I would of only thought that up first! Wendy P is on the left and me on the right. This was probably taken in the mid 80's. YIKES!! Anyways we were neighbors in Hawaii. Both of their husbands were in the Navy and I was in the military one in our family. Actually we both were till Hubby got out. We kept in touch for awhile then somehow busy lives got in the way and we drifted apart for soooo long. Thank the Lord for facebook I was able to find them both!! Wendy P I found way back . Everyone kept asking me if I heard from Junie B. I was always so sad to say, "Why no I haven't." I searched for her and her kids often on fb but couldn't locate her. Sunday Wendy P started posting pics of the "old days" so I decided to look one more time. Lo and behold I found her kids Jennifer and Chrity!! By later that night her daughters and I were friends on fb, Junie B didn't have an account yet! WHAT!!?? When I finally talked to her the following day I convinced her to get herself an account. We have been talking and texting ever since! Love that girl and miss her like crazy! It felt like blessings rained on me that day....  with the neighbors for a barbeque, or lobster fest. The menu usually consisted of the meat or fish, rice, salad and corn on the cob and plenty of laughs till late at night. The kids loved it as much as we did! The Good Old Days |
